    ¡Bienvenidos a nuestra escuela! Estamos encantados de darles la bienvenida a esta nueva aventura educativa y cultural.

    Nomination

    The Erasmus coordinators of the sending institution must nominate the students through the form. If you haven’t been nominated you can’t be selected.

    Application

    Once you have been nominated, please, fill out the application form. Notice that you must upload your portfolio on it. Here you will find the criteria for the portfolio (PDF file and no more than 10MB).

    The following refers to our selection process criteria:

    • Quality of portfolio 70%
    • Reciprocal Exchange of students from EASD with the same foreign school 15%
    • Spanish knowledge 15% (at least English B1 or Spanish A2)

    Once you have been selected you will receive an acceptation letter.

    The school has a free Spanish Course, of 6ECTS, for Erasmus students (between A2 and B1). There is one course in each semester. Student for Full Year mobility could held one or both courses. There is also an intensive free Spanish course in September. It is mandatory to do it if you don´t have any Spanish skills. It has no assigned any credit but it will be very helpfull for your classes.

    After receiving all the portfolios we will do the selection. Once you have been selected you will receive an email with the acceptance letter. If you have been rejected, you will receive an email explaining why you have been rejected.

    Where to live

    Valencia is a perfect city for design’s education, thanks to the quality of its professionals. Currently has been nominated to be Capital of Design in 2022.

    Besides, Valencia is a city that also has the perfect structure to study in there. The city enjoys a fantastic weather, hardly cold in winter, very little rain, a lot of sun and daylight. Valencia is a flat town, so it is easy to move around by bike with a bike-way which is more and more present everyday. It has a good public transport service that joins the neighbourhoods which are further from the centre using the bus, subway or tram. Valencia is also a university city, honoured to be the one of the main choices of the Erasmus students all over Europe. EASD Valencia does not provide of any residence but we offer you some links where you can find accomodation.

    Grading system

    ECTS credits:
    1 full academic year = 60 credits
    1 semester = 30 credits

    Description of the institutional grading system

    • A – 9 – 10 – EXCELLENT – outstanding performance with only minor errors
    • B – 8 – 8,99 – VERY GOOD – above the average standard but with some errors
    • C – 7 – 7,99 – GOOD – generally sound work with a number of notable errors
    • D – 6 – 6,99 – SATISFACTORY – fair but with significant shortcomings
    • E – 5 – 5,99 – SUFFICIENT – performance meets the minimum criteria
    • FX – 4 – 4,99 – FAIL – some more work required before the credit can be awarded
    • F – 0 – FAIL – considerable further work is required
    • NP – Not Present (the student did not take the exam) / F

    Educational offer

    The main language of the courses is Spanish.

    We offer a free intensive Spanish course from Spetember 3rd to 21st. for all the students who doesn’t speak Spanish. No credits awarded in this course. There is, also, a 6 ECTS Spanish Language Course, optional for the Erasmus. A2 – B1 level.

    Until the end of June the subjects could move from one semester to another, but the optional subjects will remain in the winter semester.
